Treat Catching sessions are all about the ridiculous, hilarious, completely irresistible expressions dogs make when they’re focused on catching a treat. Tongues out. Ears back. Eyes wide. Mid-air chaos. The occasional spectacular miss.
These are the portraits that make you laugh every time you look at them.
And because this is a studio session, we can focus entirely on your dog without worrying about weather, distractions, or chasing the perfect light.

I've photographed a lot of dogs—and I've learned that getting the perfect expression is part patience, part timing, part ridiculous noises, and part knowing exactly when to toss a treat.
We'll work at your dog's pace and keep things fun. I'll do the directing, the treat tossing, and the ridiculous amount of effort required to get that split-second expression.
You just get to enjoy watching your dog be hilarious.

Treat Catching is offered throughout the year on select studio dates. These focused sessions are intentionally limited so I can keep the experience fun, relaxed, and completely focused on your dog

Second Pet / Household Add-On
Designed for one pet per time slot
Sessions are intentionally structured for one pet at a time to keep the experience calm, safe, and successful.
Second Pet Add-On — $200
- Includes a separate 15–20 minute session
- 4 edited digital images included
- Must be booked same household, same day
Gallery upgrades may be applied per slot or combined, depending on how images are captured.
FAQ
BEFORE THE SESSION
Once you’re ready to book, you’ll receive a link to complete your booking form, sign the session agreement, and pay your reservation retainer. You’ll also receive a pre-session questionnaire so I can learn more about your dog’s personality and preferences. Those details go a long way in creating a relaxed, successful session.
Phone consultations are available if you’d like to talk through questions or special requests. The process is designed to be simple, stress-free, and tailored to your dog.
INVESTMENT
All sessions require a $100 retainer, applied toward your session fee. This secures your session date and time and is non-refundable due to the exclusive reservation. The remaining balance is due on or before your session date.
Sessions are scheduled on specific dates -limited spots available! If that date doesn’t work for you, I do offer a flex session within the same week. Please reach out to discuss availability.
CANCELLATIONS & WEATHER
If you’re unable to attend your session due to an exceptional circumstance, your retainer will be issued as a credit toward a future session. Monetary refunds are not available.
IMAGE DELIVERY
Your proofing gallery will be ready within 7–10 days, with up to two weeks allowed. After you select your images, your final, fully edited gallery is typically delivered within two weeks.
Additional images, full gallery upgrades, and professional prints and wall art are available.
EDITING & ARTISTIC STYLE
Selected images are fully edited and retouched, including color correction and removal of common distractions such as leashes. Final artistic choices and post-production style are part of my creative process. Special editing requests may be subject to an additional fee.

While your session includes fully edited digital images, my goal is for your portraits to become lasting artwork in your home. From fine art prints to metal wall art, canvases, and albums, professional-quality products are available to help you display your dog’s portraits in a way that’s beautiful and personal.
